The Application Procedures for the Use and Establishment of the Dedicated Radio Equipment

1. This procedure is applied to the fishing, electricity, police, fireman, railroad, high way, subway, medical, water conservancy, weather forecast, and other dedicated radio station established for exclusive use by other users to support their own service activity. 

2. The procedure for application
(1) Apply for the frequency assignment
The applicants shall file an application for the frequency assignment ( F09 form) with 4 copies which include the component circuitry diagram , proposal of the plan, relevant information and the landscape map which is the 1/50000 of the original. 

(2) Review and approval
The review and approval of application shall be conducted by the National Communications Commision(NCC).

(3) Apply for the construction permit 
Based on the frequency assigned by the NCC , the applicant shall file the application form of dedicated radio station (C09 form), and submit the application to the NCC for approval.

(4) Issue the construction permit
NCC shall check that the name of the station, the purpose of use, the numbers of the components, the brand and styles of the components, the power, the bandwidth, the antenna type and the location for the station are consistent with the approval of the NCC. If the content is consistent with the approval, the NCC shall issue the construction permit. ( the valid period of such permit is six months, and the fee is NTD 500 per permit.)

(5) Inspection
The applicant shall complete the construction within 6 months after obtaining the construction permit. After the work completion, the applicant shall notice the regional telecommunications regulatory station and apply for examination and inspection. ( the fee for examination and inspection is NTD 700 per station, and NTD 100 per mobile station.)

(6) Issuing the license
     1. After the passing of inspection, the license shall be issued. (the valid period is 3 years currently, and the fee is NTD500 per license) and licensee shall pay the use fee of dedicated radio telecommunications frequency for the issuing year.
     2. The licensee shall return the original construction permit.
