Shifts have been arranged for the upcoming Chinese New Year holiday period to ensure that the National Communications Commission (NCC) remains operational so that reports of the interference of flight communications can be dealt with and order of radio frequency can be maintained.

　　NCC acknowledges that air traffic becomes particularly busy during this time as airline companies schedule additional flights to send people home or to travel for the holidays. It therefore becomes especially important to keep flight communications open, free of interference, and to ensure that no compromises over safety are made. In that light, NCC has scheduled holiday shifts for its staff to remain on duty and deal with issues concerning interference of flight communications and ensure that radio channels remain clear for airlines during this time.
