With view to promoting media literacy throughout the society, NCC has commissioned broadcasting enterprises, schools, and other organizations to conduct a variety of media literacy programs, encompassing a broad range of topics, such as media awareness, gender equality and respect, and the communications rights of minorities and disadvantaged groups, etc. Media literacy, which can be defined as the ability to access, analyze, evaluate, and create media, has become a key feature of any progressive democratic society. Consequently, media literacy of the public has greatly influenced the development of our media industry and has had a notable positive effect.
