CASBAA CEO Simon Davies and Deputy CEO John Medeiros called on the NCC in the afternoon of Thursday, September 1, 2011, and were met by NCC Chairperson Dr. Su, accompanied by Broadcasting Contents Department Director Jason Ho and Operational Administration Department Senior Specialist I-Lien Chan and Senior Technical Specialist Ming-jen Wu. They exchanged views on agendas such as the development of the cable TV market, licensing, the digital switchover, and content regulation.

Mr. Davies also invited Chairperson Dr. Su, commissioners and other related NCC staff to participate in the CASBAA Convention 2011 and Regulatory Roundtable Forum to be held at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Hong Kong from October 31 to November 3.

NCC regularly exchanges views with international communications regulatory bodies through official visits and meetings in order to keep updated on key policy developments and the experiences of its peers.
